The series’ story follows a mysterious cybernetic warrior known as the Ghostrunner who awakens in a dystopian future plagued by a deadly plague of nanotechnology. As humanity’s last hope for survival, the player takes on the role of the Ghostrunner to roam the city of Dharma Tower, fight off hordes of enemies and uncover the truth behind the apocalyptic plague. With a katana, enhancements, and parkour, the hero fights different enemies, uncovers hidden secrets, and makes different allies, all to free the city from its ruthless ruler.
