Gisele Bündchen is making headlines right now after her separation from the celebrated NFL star Tom Brady. The Victoria’s Secret model’s divorce from the Buccaneers quarterback was speculated for a long time before finally reaching the conclusion a few days back. But these conversations have also raised stories about the past relationship between the Taxi actress and the Titanic fame Leonardo DiCaprio.
Although Gisele Bündchen had a very beautiful relationship with the Oscar Winning actor, things didn’t go very well in the end. As the Brazilian model explained in several interviews that she felt very uncomfortable and unhealthy during her time with Hollywood fame.
What made Gisele Bündchen uncomfortable?
Leonardo DiCaprio and the 42-year-old model had a highly celebrated relationship from 1999-2005. Even though it looked perfect to most eyes, there were some serious issues that finally led the ship to capsize.
Among the various reasons that caused the bond to die was the unwarranted attention received by Bündchen. According to her, she felt uncomfortable and is still not very used to it as described by her in an interview with People in 2016.
“It brought a lot more attention to me, which is something I didn’t feel very comfortable with. To this day, I still haven’t gotten very used to it.”
There were also various other reasons behind the breakup. In an interview with Porter’s Magazine, she even said that she used to have panic attacks during that time. At one point Gisele Bündchen even started to suppress the pain which led more to the unhealthiness of the relationship.
“When I was going through my panic attacks, I didn’t even feel like I could share with anyone, I thought maybe I don’t have the right, everybody is going through so many difficult things in the world, and I don’t have the right to feel this way. So I’d suppress it, and the more I suppressed it, the bigger it became.”
In her bestselling book Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life, she wrote further about the broken bond:
“I was alone in wanting to do some serious soul-searching while he stayed the same”
Moreover, the duo never spoke too much about their bond still we know that it was highly unhealthy for the Vogue Fashion Awards Winning model. Later she found love with the NFL fame Tom Brady before even that relationship came to a closure a few days back.

It seems that they have left the matrimonial bond on an amicable note and also spoke highly about one another. Presently they are living separately and it can’t be denied that it is indeed painful to be separated after 13 years of togetherness.
