Monkey D. Luffy is the protagonist of One Piece and recently unlocked his most potent form, Gear 5. On the other hand, Sasuke Uchiha has been going through a rough patch of time after losing his Rinnegan. The fans put them against each other in a death battle while both of them are at their peak. By the statistics, Sasuke will be the one to pick up the victory.

Monkey D. Luffy has physical abilities and a strong will that justifies his Conqueror’s Haki. After Gear 5, he can even change the properties of his surroundings. On the other hand, Sasuke Uchiha has visual prowess like the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and the Rinne-Sharingan. He can also use Lightning style and Fire style jutsu.

Monkey D. Luffy can counter Sasuke’s physical attacks using his rubber properties. The former is also immune to lightning, and his guts help him stand against fire. So, taijutsu and ninjutsu won’t be much help against Luffy. But genjutsu could be Sasuke’s key to victory. He can easily look into Luffy’s eyes and make him watch Portgas D. Ace die multiple times until he is weakened to his very core. It may sound pure evil, but Sasuke will be willing to do anything to win.

Naruto and One Piece were quick to enter the heated argument, with each fanbase standing up for their favorite characters. People siding with the Shadow Hokage were more in number compared to the captain of the Strawhats. Everything was fine until Sasuke’s visual prowess came into play. The fans took their argument to social media. One of the X (formerly Twitter) users said even if genjutsu does not work, Sasuke can switch places with Luffy while he stands on water.

Another one said that it was on point because of genjutsu.

Many pointed out that it was an unfair matchup since Sasuke is too versatile.

Most of them agreed with the notion of Sasuke making Luffy watch Ace’s death multiple times.

Effectively, It proved to be a win for Sasuke Uchiha from every perspective.

Fans had a clear winner in their mind, but that did not stop them from arguing more. Masashi Kishimoto and Eiichiro Oda are friends in real life, but the fans use their magnum opus as a stepping stone for their arguments. These arguments are ever-lasting. Even though it provokes anime fandoms, it is still great to see it growing on a daily basis.
