The rapper has been reported to have bet $675,000 on Pereira beating Hill. The figure that he has put up is not small, making fans extremely concerned, but not in the way many would think.

Even though Drake is very active in gambling, his track record has gained quite a reputation. Although he bets a lot of money on a lot of different kinds of events, he does not win very frequently, losing a lot of money in the process. So much so, that it has almost become a joke on the internet that whoever the rapper puts his bets on, is guaranteed to lose.
During the UFC 297, he bet $700,000 on Sean Strickland to win against Dricus du Plessis. As reported by Technopedia, the latter won and Drake lost his money. Another example is how he lost $1.2 million, after betting on Jake Paul in his fight with Tommy Fury. Unfortunately for the rapper, the list is long and seemingly evergrowing.
With this in mind, fans of Pereira have grown increasingly concerned with Drake’s faith in their fighter.
Having bet a lot of money on the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, fans are worried that their starfighter will pay the price of the rapper’s bad luck. Some have become sure that Jamahal Hill will win. They even talked about betting their own money on him, joking that they were so sure about his win that they would put their life savings on it.
