How did Will Poulter ace his dream role?

Will Poulter is currently featured in the award-winning series The Bear. The series has a special place in his heart, as it was his dream to be a part of it. The journey to ace the role in The Bear wasn’t a piece of cake for Poulter and required a lot of passion. During an interview, the actor shared that he implored the makers to take him on in the series. The 30-year-old actor said,

“I called them. I literally begged to be in the show. I asked if I could meet with Chris Storer and basically communicated that I was such a fan of so much of his work, but especially The Bear.”

Poulter’s efforts indeed came to fruition, as he ultimately got the role. Referring to Storer, the actor expressed his gratitude to him and said,

“He was kind enough to gift me with the offer to play Luca, and it really changed my life, to be honest.”

“It kind of helped me realize a dream of playing a chef on TV. I have such an immense amount of respect for chefs and the women and men of that industry. I feel like the whole society stands on the shoulders of people in the food and beverage industry, and we don’t even necessarily really know it or think about it. They sustain us and maintain us daily and they don’t get enough thanks for what they do.”

The actor’s dedication to the show turned out to be worthy, as it was well acclaimed by the viewers.

What’s in store for The Bear Season 2?

Season 2 of The Bear features Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Matty Matheson as the lead characters. According to the Rotten Tomatoes critics view, the series focuses more on feelings.
