Drew Mcintyre got his deserved title shot against Seth Rollins on night 2 of WrestleMania 40. The Scottish Warrior has been kind of a heel, with his storyline with injured CM Punk getting momentum, but he had bigger fish to fry.
Mcintyre has always proved to be worthy and his challenge against Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship was a fine addition for night 2 of the biggest WWE event, however, Mcintyre was at another level of the game as he tweeted during the live match.
Drew Mcintyre Tweeted During The Live Match Against Seth Rollins
Drew Mcintyre has ushered dominance over the year, proving that he has been one of the top performers of the company. The superstar challenged Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. Following the loss of Rollins and Cody Rhodes on the first night of WrestleMania, Seth seemingly hurt his knee, but it did not prevent him from standing for his title.
However, the challenger, Mcintyre, has taken the game quite lightly, or so it seems, as The Scottish Warrior decided to post on X (formerly Twitter) during the live match against Rollins where the World Heavyweight Championship was on the line.
Mcintyre revealed that he was bored with the match. “Bored at work. LOL!” he wrote on X. Mcintyre eventually defeated Rollins with two Claymore Kicks to claim the title. However, while The Scottish Warrior was celebrating his moment, Damian Priest came to the arena with his Money In The Bank briefcase, casing in for the title against the new champion. Priest immediately hit Mcintyre and came out victorious.
Fans Are Surprised By Drew Mcintyre Posting On X During Live Match
WWE superstars may surprise you sometimes. But Mcintyre’s wild exhibition of getting “bored” in the live match has certainly baffled fans to the core. With his tweet, Mcintyre became the first wrestler to tweet during a match, and most certainly, he will retain that record for a long time.
Fans rushed into the comment section of Mcintyre’s tweet.

Sadly, the Scottish Warrior only held his title up in the air for a short while, as Priest came to claim his title to be the new champion. Perhaps he will have a rematch soon, but it was certainly heartbreaking for the superstar.
