Khal Drogo, played by Jason Momoa, was one of the most intense characters from Game of Thrones the most successful series of all time, but what was more intense was his story as Daenerys Targaryen’s (Emilia Clarke) first lover, as he played an important role in shaping her ever-stronger character.
Khal Drogo’s Khaleesi, who became subject to some harrowing scenes of se*ual violence, before taking over Drogo’s heart, once revealed how Jason Momoa would pull wild stunts to lighten up the love whilst a r*pe scene. Sadly, the series didn’t hesitate to kill the fierce warrior way too soon.
Jason Momoa Left Emilia Clarke In Tears With His Pink Sock On P*nis Prank!
During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Emilia Clarke recalled Jason Momoa‘s hilarious prank during the filming of a violent s*x scene. She said that during the distressing scene, the Aquaman actor pulled out some wild stunts to lighten up the mood.
Emilia Clarke shared:
“There was the lovely, erm, the lovely ra*e scene early on in season one… so obviously, there’s nudity and you kind of have to try to lighten the mood.
“Not only was it a sex scene, it was a violent sex scene, so he decided for one of the scenes… not use a modesty sock, but use a beautiful pink, fluffy sock.”
As she recalled Momoa’s prank, Clarke revealed that the close-up act did leave her petrified, and continued, “I didn’t want it to happen, it’s huge and it’s pink and I don’t know what to do!'” Clarke, who couldn’t hold her laughter, was called out by the director, but she cried out: “Jason has a fluffy pink thing on his… p*nis.”
Jason Momoa Wanted To Have A Good Time Being N*ked
Jason ditched the modesty sock for a pink fluffy one just to lighten the mood whilst the gravity of the violent scene. During a Game of Thrones Q&A, the actor revealed that during the filming of the above scene, he was in Belfast and it was a freezing, December day at Titanic Studios.
Jason Momoa shared:
“And I was like: ‘I’m the only f***er in here naked! I don’t see anything more appropriate than me having a good time. I mean, this is awkward. Just let me make her laugh and I’ll try to get through this.'”
Momoa wanted to get this done and roll as he had to walk in the room n*ked and show his b*tt to Clarke. As it was the last scene, “that was supposed to be in the very beginning and it got bumped,” Momoa decided to have some fun with it. It was then that the actor reached out to a little bag of different socks.
“So I went down and bought a little bag of these socks. Some fluffy pink polka dot socks with little animals and I put them in…appropriate places…It’s all a part of making [Emilia] laugh.'”
