He is globally known for playing Captain America/ Steve Rogers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and has a massive fanbase. But who does Evans want to be with? While there are always rumors about his personal life, once upon a time, the actor confessed that he wanted to date singer Camila Cabello. However, he probably wouldn’t want to hear what the singer said after hearing about his love for her.
Chris Evans Professes His Love For Camila Cabello
During an interview with Jimmy Fallon, the MCU actor was asked about his crush and the actor surprised everyone by saying that it was Camila Cabello. The Hollywood superstar admitted that he would love to go on a date with her. As per the Knives Out actor:
“Camila Cabello, absolutely, if I could have a date with her, I would have it with a great pleasure.”
His confession sent ripples across his fanbase because no one could have predicted that he loved the vocalist of the former Fifth Harmony girl group. Also, even though Evans is frequently linked with various actresses, he rarely confesses his love for someone. However, this is old news. Nowadays, Chris Evans is linked to Portuguese actress, Alba Baptista, who is best known for her work in the Netflix series Warrior Nun. So he has seemingly moved past his crush on the Cuban singer. Or maybe he had to because Cabello didn’t have good news for Evans.
Camila Cabello Breaks Chris Evans’ Heart
Everyone loves Chris Evans and millions would give anything to go on a date with him. But not Camila Cabello apparently. During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the singer was asked about Chris Evans’ apparent interest in her. But Cabello wasn’t interested in dating the actor. She replied:
“He is a very handsome guy, and I admire him. But he is not my type of man.”
At least Evans had the guts to confess his feelings for the singer. As for Cabello, she previously ended a high-profile relationship with singer Shawn Mendes. As per reports, both of them decided to part ways romantically but stay connected as best friends. They released the following statement during their breakup:
“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.”
Reportedly, Cabello is single for now. On the work front, she is gearing up to film Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Rob Peace film. As for Evans, he will be seen in the film Pain Hustlers with Emily Blunt. Regarding the MCU, there are rumors that the actor will return in Avengers: Secret Wars down the line as either Captain America or the Human Torch. So it looks like both the stars have moved on with their lives and are happy with their personal relationships.
