The Suicide Squad Star recalled McGregor was extremely excited about everything on the set, stating that seeing him being adamant about improving as the shoot continued “was nice and special to watch.” She said:

“I was very elated to work with everyone in general. I was elated to work with Jake, and curious to learn and to watch him work. I was very curious to see how Conor would behave on set because he was doing this for the first time. He just looked like a little kid in a candy store! He was super excited to do everything, and try everything, then to go to the screen and to watch it again, to see what he could improve on. It was very nice and special to watch.”

McGregor was indeed enthralled about working in the movie, as he previously expressed that he was in awe of the whole process.

He told Total Film (via GamesRadar+):

“I was just in awe of it all, to be honest with you, the whole process. I didn’t know how I was going to take to it. I didn’t know whether I was going to like it, to be honest. I’m a fighting man – that’s my bread and butter. It’s where I come from… I’m not an actor, but I’m show business. That was my vibe to it. I felt that. I enjoyed every second of it.”

With the early reviews for the movie calling it fun, it seems McGregor’s acting career has been up to a fiery start.

Road House is available to stream on Amazon Prime.
