During an interview with Graham Norton, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt were talking about how they managed to stay in touch with each other despite their busy work schedule, working on different projects. As they were talking about it, he revealed that he was stuck in a tight situation once at the airport with the Customs Department and the only thing that saved him from getting into trouble was Emily Blunt’s name.

He said that when he was en route to meet his wife and kids in London, the Customs officer was in a grumpy mood, which spelled a not-so-smooth pass for him. The officer asked him a bunch of questions that didn’t impress the officer at all. But when he asked about whether his wife was an actress and what her name was, Krasinski replied by saying Blunt’s name, which instantly shocked the officer, and he was all ready to give him a pass after that.

Emily Blunt said that the reason why most British people didn’t like Krasinski that much was that he looked a little too American, especially when he wore his baseball cap in the public. She had advised him that if he could cut down on wearing that cap in public, the people of Britain might accept him after all.

Speculations around the casting continue but no confirmed news is heard as of yet.
