Alan Wake 2 has been a huge success for Remedy Entertainment, and the team has shown appreciation for other successful games like Helldivers 2 from Arrowhead Game Studios. Despite the significant differences in gameplay and structure between these two games, the developers have exchanged gifts, demonstrating kindness and humility towards one another.
It is a beautiful sight to see two talented groups of developers breaking bread and sharing positive vibes. The folks at Arrowhead Studios received a gift from the geniuses at Remedy Entertainment and the fans can not get enough of this wholesome interaction and even gave the idea that these two companies can have a funny crossover moment between Helldivers 2 and Alan Wake 2.
Fans Are Waiting For A Crossover Between Arrowhead’s Helldivers 2 And Remedy’s Alan Wake 2
Anything is possible in gaming and there are no boundaries in the entertainment industry. Remedy has extended its appreciation to fellow game developers and sent a thermos with a signed box and a manuscript from Alan Wake himself that indicates his acknowledgment of the Galactic War above.

The manuscript features words from the author himself and it seems to imply that Helldivers 2 is canon to the universe of Alan Wake 2, and fans are open to the idea of the two developers doing something unique and funny.

Although Alan Wake 2 was a success, it was quite a downer in terms of sales and Remedy is looking for ways to recover by regaining full rights of their franchise. Being fully in control will allow the studio to take their franchise in any direction they see fit, perhaps a crossover of sorts with Arrowhead’s Helldivers 2 could be happening down the line.
Perhaps the two studios can come up with a story or DLC for Alan Wake 2 that features themes and details from Arrowhead’s game and then players will be rewarded with an in-game item for Helldivers 2 after accomplishing it.
Nothing is impossible for crossovers but it would need to benefit each franchise rather than being straight-up fan service. There is no limit to creativity, both developers are extremely proud and protective of their games and there is always hope for a union of the two. Don’t forget, it wasn’t so long ago we got an Alan Wake 2 x Dead by Daylight crossover.
Alan Wake 2-Inspired Stratagem Could Come To Helldivers 2
Helldivers 2 is a multiplayer game that features players teaming up with others to fight hostile alien forces and the chaotic nature of the game has led to cinematic moments that are rare to capture. While Alan Wake 2 is drastically different, a single-player linear story with horror elements but cinematic in almost every way, being a fictional world can make it easier to bridge it with another.
Gaming is an avenue that relies on creativity and freedom, other games and franchises have benefitted greatly from crossovers like Fortnite and Call of Duty, maybe Arrowhead Game Studios can push Helldivers 2 in the same successful direction. Regardless, fans will be pleased to see a union of two popular games and this wholesome interaction can be an example for other people that democracy and harmony can reign supreme.
