All the Helldivers 2 players who have unofficially attained the title of professional Helldivers must not forget they too began the game at level 1. This is a message Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt appears to be spreading as newbies join the game. The visual spectacle of gaming is about to hit three million copies sold in just a few weeks of launch, and the pace doesn’t seem to slow down anytime now.

This also means a lot of players will be entering the game and would surely not like being trolled by the ones dominating Super Earth at advanced levels. Due to the exponential rise in popularity of the game and players almost begging others to let them play, developers had to increase the user cap to 800K.

Helldivers 2 Pro Players Need to Learn More About Being a Leader

In a recent post shared by Pilestedt on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), he asked the pro-players to stop becoming fascists in the game. He suggested that “This. Help new players. Show them the ropes. Fight together. Don’t be a facist,” with a meme attached to the post.

Moreover, in what many would find a motivating and also provoking statement, he said, “Give the new player the shield backpack and the railgun. You can do without it if you are a true Helldiver.”

The game is less likely to become easy given that someone is taking their job seriously in the middle of the night. Game Master Joel is the latest entry in a game (actually, he was there all along), and he can be compared with a Dungeon Master pulling the strings to make it interesting as the narrative unfolds.

Satisfaction Doesn’t Come Easy in Helldivers 2

With the revelation of Game Master Joel, players may see unlikely challenges in Helldivers 2.

As a multiplayer game, Helldivers 2 isn’t easy; in fact, it may leave the players grasping at straws. The Automatons taking over Malevelon Creek is a testament to what’s possible in the game.

Recently, a Redditor called Teyhasfk wrote that,

Been playing the Helldivers 2 for a bit, the amount of things that is happening is really overwhelming. Difficulty 4 is pretty much impossible for 2 people with our gear. Fighting non stop and used up all ammo, flooded by enemies.

But that’s what makes it fun. Playing games on easy might appear fun, but eventually, players will get enough of it pretty quickly. To this end, the so-called ‘pro players‘ can help raise the rookies to new ranks. And who knows, they would prove an exceptional asset in this fight for democracy.

Are you a pro-Helldiver willing to help the rookies? Tell us in the comments.
