Helldivers 2 may be one of the biggest and most pleasant surprises of the year so far, with more and more players flocking in to see what the hype is about, and it is delivering on almost every front. The game seems to be doing everything that a live-service multiplayer title should, but there is a significant gameplay element that has been absent from it till now.
Considering how mechs used to be a major aspect in the first Helldivers, it was only a matter of time before they made their way into the sequel, and fortunately, Arrowhead Game Studios has confirmed that they will be joining the mayhem very soon.
Mechs Are Making Their Way Into Helldivers 2 Pretty Soon
Arrowhead Game Studios made the highly anticipated announcement to its soldiers on the official Helldivers 2 X account, confirming that the first batch of mechs will be called the EXO-45 Patriot Exosuits and assuring the player base that they “are in full production in the factories of Tien Kwan.” The developer still did not provide any exact launch date for the much-awaited gameplay element, but it did say that they will be “Ready for deployment on the battlefield soon.”
Accompanied by an aesthetically fitting poster, the post features a fresh look at the upcoming mechs, and they look like they are prepared to wreak havoc against Super Earth’s enemies.
“Tien Kwan factories are rolling out,” and Helldivers 2 fans could not be more excited about the fact, even though there is some confusion about what Arrowhead Game Studios means by “soon.” One thing is for sure, though: the bloodthirsty Automatons have had their destructive time, which is about to end in the near future. According to a pumped-up soldier and player, it is “Time to give the robots a taste of their own medicine.”
Helldivers 2’s Battlefields Are About to Be Engulfed in Robotic Chaos
Even when the odds are against the residents of Super Earth in Helldivers 2, as the bugs are accompanied by killer robot armies, the soldiers never lose heart and fight till the very last breath. But now that they will have their own mechs to utilize, the game’s battlefields are about to be engulfed in robotic chaos, and players can’t wait to witness the madness themselves.
Fans are naturally asking Arrowhead Game Studios questions about “how soon” these machines will become available in the title, with others still facing server issues after the developer raised the maximum player cap to seemingly fix them.
Thankfully, Arrowhead Game Studios and CEO Johan Pilestedt have been quite interactive with the community, constantly trying to make Helldivers 2 an even better experience for their fanbase. So it should not take too long for them to address these concerns.
