Game Master Joel must be proud that Helldivers 2 players are going to great lengths to kill Bile Titans, the giant bile-spewing bugs invading Super Earth. While the standard procedure is obviously keeping a distance and firing at them from a certain range, there’s scope for some fun. Apparently if one is willing to bet a farm for it.
Players get to deal with over a dozen unique enemies like Brood Commanders, Chargers, Stalkers and more trying to make it to a player, but of course not in a friendly way. While there are a lot of strategies one can try out given the freedom to pursue the missions in many ways, players can choose to step out of the box to kill enemies, in a brutal way.
That is One Cool Strategy in Helldivers 2
One such player took a different way to kill a Bile Titan and was kind enough to show the world this brutal yet funny way to bring the enemy down. A video shared by user Kalypso on the social platform Reddit shows the player calling in a Strategem that simply drops on the enemy, beating the living bile out of it (disgusting).
The best way to pull the move should be using Strategems with a short cooldown or deployment time. However, accuracy isn’t always guaranteed here so it is suffice to say, it may take more than a try to accurately hit the target. Nevertheless, it will be fun either way for the players as can be seen in the video.
Other users were quick to appreciate Kalypso with one saying, “That’s definitely one of the strategies of all time.” While one user suggested that a lot of players are going to use the strategy in the coming days, another user suggested a simple way, throwing a beacon, to kill the creature, calling it “safer and more reliable.” As Falcon from Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) says, “He’s Out Of Line But He’s Right.
A Lot of Uncertainty Persists For Helldivers at The Moment
Although it is a fun and effective way to kill (if it actually hits the target) players have easier ways to kill Bile Titans. One of which is using a FAF-14 Spear that makes light work of these giant walkers (crawlers wouldn’t be right as they appear more like walking).
Whatever strategies players may choose, they may want to go for a different for other enemies, especially when new enemy types are probable in future updates. And then how could one forget Game Master Joel who god knows when would open a can of worms to make a living hell out of players’ lives in a matter of minutes?
However, that is something worth giving a thought to in the future. For now, it is time to call in death from above while Helldivers fight for galactic peace and prosperity.
