Helldivers 2 has been one of the biggest surprises this year. Be it with its unprecedented success, its never-ending woes of automatons, new Warbond, regular drops of new equipment, or its challenging Major Orders which have had the community on their toes. Following suit, Helldivers are called to assemble for a new Major Order announced by developers Arrowhead Studios.

Just when players thought getting rid of two billion Terminids and liberating 10 planets were tough Major Orders, the makers dropped another one. And mind you, this is even more taxing, putting players in a real dilemma.

Helldivers 2 latest Major Order: Choohe and Penta?

The latest Helldivers 2 Major Order sends players to the Automaton-controlled Lacaille Sector. Here the players are expected to liberate the planets of Choohe and Penta. The new major order runs til Monday, April 29, 2024, which means players have three days of the weekend to successfully campaign in both locations.

However, there is a twist. While players campaign on these planets, new Helldivers 2 stratagems are being developed on each of these planets. Thus players will only have the chance to save one of the two from being lost.

Arrowhead Games announced the new major order on their official X handle. They revealed that the Major Order required players to choose between liberating Choohe or Penta, and depending on the choice they will receive either the MD-17 Anti-Tank Mines or the RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher. Besides, players must save the citizens of the planet too.

The primary reason for choosing just one of the two planets is because the Automatons are quickly moving on both these planets and their trapped citizens and weaponry need to be saved.

Choohe must be liberated!

As specified by the developers, based on the choice of planet that the players make they will receive either the MD-17 Anti-Tank Mines or the RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher. Only the Stratagem on the planet players liberate first can be saved, and hence players will get only one of the weapons in Helldivers 2.

Several discussions and debates have been surfacing on the internet about what is the ideal choice for players to save between the two planets. While several players are vouching for Penta, in reality, Choohe may be the right choice.

Liberating Choohe gets players the MD-17 anti-tank mine. This is essentially an area denial weapon that can strategically help stop the automatons from advancing ahead. Besides, it also has anti-armor capabilities.

On the other hand, the RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher is good but redundant. Thus enemy armor should any day be a priority since there are already enough weapons in the game to replace the air-burst rocket launcher, if needed.
