Henry Cavill has won over millions of hearts with his portrayal of Superman in DC and Geralt of Rivia in the Netflix series. But these are not the only reason the Man of Steel star has become a fan favorite. Since then, he has openly shared his love for games and fantasy books. But Cavill was not always confident about his “nerdy” hobbies. During an interview with Ali Plumb, the Night Hunter star shared that he was insecure about sharing his love for Warhammer 40,000. Plumb, who seemed impressed with Cavill for having a Game of Thrones Chess set, asked about the geekiest thing about him.

Henry Cavill did not hesitate to say that the geekiest thing about him could be his love for Warhammer 40,000. “The geekiest thing would have to be my Warhammer stuff,” he said. He then shared his insecurity about admitting it publicly.

Cavill said, “That took me a while to, kind of, confess to openly and publicly.” He further said that getting engaged in Warhammer serves as an “escapism” for him and that he loves the game.

As the Immortals star tried to figure out how long he’s played the tabletop wargame, Ali Plumb ended up saying, “40,000 years.” Adding to his remark, Cavill said that it could be longer “depending,” before saying that he has been a fan of Warhammer 40,000 since he was 10 years old.
