Henry Cavill’s DC Co-Star Might Jump Ship to Marvel for Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 to Reprise Fan-Favorite Superhero

Deadpool 3 is one of the most anticipated superhero movies in the world right now as we will not only be seeing Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool once again, but we will also be seeing Hugh Jackman reprise his role as Logan aka Wolverine once again.

However, according to recent sources, Ben Affleck who plays the role of the Caped Crusader aka Batman in the DCEU was also recently spotted on the set of Deadpool 3 giving rise to new speculations about the role he would be playing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Ben Affleck will allegedly be reprising his role as Daredevil in Deadpool 3

A Twitter user KC Walsh, aka @TheComixKid, recently took to Twitter and revealed that Ben Affleck was also spotted on the set of Deadpool 3. Although the tweet read, Walsh has “no idea who he[Affleck] is playing,” the speculations about Affleck reprising his role as Daredevil in the upcoming Deadpool 3 movie quickly took over the internet.

Ben Affleck first played the role of Matt Murdock aka Daredevil back in the 2003 superhero movie, Daredevil. Although the movie was not much of a commercial or critical success, it was still praised for its storyline, stunts, and the performances of the actors.

The Justice League actor reprising his role in Deadpool 3 makes sense

As everyone saw in Spider-Man: No Way Home, apart from Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, the villains from their Spider-Man movies also reprised their roles in the movie. Similarly, it can be expected that along with Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine, Ben Affleck might also be reprising his role as the blind crime-fighting lawyer in the movie.

Deadpool 3 is also going to be the first R-rated movie of the MCU since the first 2 movies of the trilogy were released as a product of 20th Century Studios instead of Disney.

Other than Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman, a lot of other actors have also confirmed the reprisal of roles in Deadpool 3. Morena Baccarin has recently confirmed that she will be reprising her role as Vanessa Carlysle, Deadpool’s girlfriend once again. Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapicic will also be reprising their roles in the upcoming movie.

Deadpool 3 will be released on May 8, 2024.
