During an interview, actor Jason Momoa discussed his all-time favorite films and the characters that have inspired him as an actor. While talking about his most revered figure from the film industry, Momoa mentioned the Oscar-winning actor Jack Nicholson. The actor spoke highly of him, claiming that he greatly admired Nicholson’s work in Stanley Kubrick’s 1980 film, The Shining. Momoa said,
“I’m a huge Jack Nicholson fan. He’s obviously… Everything from ‘Five Easy Pieces,’ another one that’s just phenomenal to me… Yeah, he’s a god to me. I love him. I don’t know how to properly explain why, but he’s just fantastic. His sense of humor, his intensity, his charm, you know. There’s only one Jack. I love him.”
Though Momoa and Nicholson have never collaborated on a film, Momoa holds the actor in high esteem. Unfortunately, since Nicholson has retired from acting, fans will never have the opportunity to see them share the screen.
Nicholson’s last on-screen appearance as an actor was in the 2010 romantic-comedy film How Do You Know. However, he never officially announced his retirement; since then, he has not appeared in any films. According to some sources, the actor was compelled to step away from his acting career.
