But with the rising popularity of live-action series, there was hope that Netflix would bring out the best. After becoming popular worldwide, the cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender has been going around and doing interviews and questionnaires. During one such questionnaire, Fire Prince Zuko actor Dallas James Liu mentioned one character who would always be one step ahead of Zuko. The mentioned character is Uncle Iroh. There is no way Zuko could defeat him since he is too powerful.

The cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender had a session questionnaire hosted by WIRED. Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio Tarbel, Ian Ousley, Dallas James Liu, and Elizabeth Yu were present during the questionnaire. During the session, Dallas James Lee was asked who would be victorious in a fight between Uncle Iroh and Zuko. The Zuko actor accepted his defeat and mentioned he was too powerful for him.

Liu said, “I am saying Zuko gets walked down by Iroh. I’m gonna be honest. You see like the chains, he’s the Dragon of the West. He’s part of some secret society later on. Like even though Zuko progresses as a Firebender throughout the series, he’s still not strong enough, unfortunately.” It is clear that Liu never had a doubt about Iroh and respects him since the series has shown him to be more sympathetic to Zuko than Fire Lord Ozai.

Even his colleagues supported his answer. They agreed Iroh is a Dragon of the West and is a well-versed Firebender. Apart from that, he is experiencing, and few could come close to him. It is great to see that there is much respect between the two characters even though they have different ideals and battles going on inside them.

Avatar: The Last Airbender Is A Massive Success

Avatar: The Last Airbender was released on February 22, 2024, on Netflix. Like One Piece Live Action, it took utmost care of the minute details and rectified itself from past mistakes. The result they got is nothing like before. Within the first four days of its premiere, the live-action series racked up more than 21.2 million views on Netflix.

During the week of February 19-25, the series reached the top of Netflix’s most-watched title. The streaming details revealed it had better viewership than the critically acclaimed One Piece Live Action after the first four days. It is still in its initial stage, and the viewership will increase in the future. The way it is going, there soon could be an announcement of season two.

Avatar: The Last Airbender season one adapted from Book One: Water. Season two will be adapted from Book Two: Earth. Fans are eagerly waiting for the announcement. More than the main cast, they are waiting to see more live-action Appa.
