First sharing a movie with Robert Downey Jr. in 2008, Gwyneth Paltrow has since done more than 7 Marvel movies opposite RDJ as his girlfriend and later, as his wife. All the Marvel fans know Paltrow by the name of Pepper Potts. Adding on, it looks like Paltrow really enjoyed being on set with RDJ. Her recent words in the video posted by Access Hollywood are a direct reference to the claim.
In the video interview, Paltrow was asked to choose her favorite co-star among Robert Downey Jr., Beyonce, and Brad Pitt. Although she took a fraction of a second, she got her breath back with the name of Robert Downey Jr. As soon as the names were said, she claimed:
“Oh it’s so hard, I love all these people but I got to say Downey. […] He’s like a brother to me.”
Paltrow mentioned that she went for Downey instead of Beyonce or Brad Pitt because she has worked most days with Downey and looks up to him like an elder brother.

One would think that after working together for so many years, Paltrow and Downey Jr. had gotten enough of each other. However, that does not seem to be the case as The Talented Mr. Ripley actress also mentioned the Oppenheimer star’s name when asked who she would prefer to work with in a future movie. She playfully replied:
“I guess I will say Downey again because he will be mad if he sees this and I didn’t mention him.”
Apart from that, Paltrow was also asked to choose her most iconic outfit out of her three previous outfits. The options curated for her were the 1995 Jefferson and Paris premier outfit, the 1996 Gucci pantsuit, and the 1999 Oscars outfit. In response, Paltrow went for the pink dress from the 1999 Oscars and she added that the dress reminded her of her father.
At the end of the video, the interviewer whole-heartedly praised Paltrow for being versatile in her life, as she manages her businesses, family, and acting career simultaneously. In response, Paltrow thanked everyone for the support she has constantly received from them.
