One such celebrity to do so was Jennifer Lawrence. Count on the Mother actress to speak her truth while still being relatable. However, the Academy Award winner has revealed that despite finding him extremely attractive, she’d only date Chalamet when her one condition is met.

Watching him in a passionate love affair, in the scenic Italian countryside made people fall in love with him. Jennifer Lawrence was no exception to this. It was in an interview in 2018, the year she began dating her husband; when J-Law confessed to having a crush on the Dune: Part Two star.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight back then, she had said, “[I’m] buttering him up like a pig for slaughter,” she said jokingly. She also did not refrain from adding her praise of the actor, saying, he’s “so, so talented and hot.” She did have one condition on dating Chalamet. If it ever happens.

Lawrence was fully attracted to Chalamet. However, she was not so sure about the age gap between her and the Wonka actor. He is five years younger than the actress. That wouldn’t necessarily matter but to Lawrence it did. Hence, she clarified that she’d wait for him to “get a little bit older”. She said:

I’m going to swing right in there as soon as he’s, like, 30. He’s old enough to say that, right? He’s over 18? What if I was like, ‘He’s hot!’ and he’s 15?”

Elaborating on her plans, Lawrence got carried away. And prevented herself from getting into a bit of a complicated situation just in time.

However, the chances of this relationship happening now do not seem likely since Lawrence is now married and shares a child with the New York-based art gallery director Cooke Maroney. Chalamet, on the other hand, is in a relationship with Kylie Jenner.

That being said, the Silver Linings Playbook actress is not the Hollywood actress who has a crush on Timothée Chalamet. Numerous other actresses have admitted their admiration for the actor over the years.
