Keeping that in mind, James Wan revealed in the same interview with Slash Film that he’s happy to find someone like Wilson, who he can trust and enjoys working with.

He gets me, I get him, and we kind of have a very shorthand way of working. We trust each other and it makes it fun. Filmmaking can be very stressful, so it’s kind of nice to surround yourself with people that you enjoy working with.

Despite his love for movies, Wilson’s directorial debut wasn’t well-received by the audience as it currently has a 5.5/10 rating on IMDb.
