Despite the MCU being the biggest and most popular superhero cinema outlet in the world today, Prime Video’s The Boys managed to create an almost cult-like following for itself in a matter of a few episodes. And when it comes to that show, there’s no chance Antony Starr’s role as Homelander in the series will not be brought up ever.
With so much steam behind him in recent years, many fans wished for his appearance in the MCU sometime in the future as well. But since that hope may be nothing more than a pipe dream at present, new concept art shows the star becoming Dracula from Marvel Comics to face off against Mahershala Ali in and as Blade, one of the character’s strongest nemesis.
New Concept Art Shows Antony Starr As Dracula In Mahershala Ali’s Upcoming MCU Film Blade
Despite the star having multiple memorable roles in the sliver screen industry in various different projects, Antony Starr is and will always be remembered for his portrayal of Homelander in Prime Video’s The Boys. But as for the fans, they want to see more of him in other major projects, such as a film or a series in the MCU, which despite being a long shot, is something many fans dream of.
While it may never happen for real in a real project, many indulge themselves in concept and fan art to satiate their hunger. Recently, on the r/MCUTheories, a user posted an image that featured the Banshee star as Dracula, the nemesis of Blade from the pages of Marvel Comics in concept art, which got many of the fans’ mental gears turning.

With the hype and anticipation surrounding Mahershala Ali‘s representation of Blade in the upcoming MCU film of the same name, this art shows both the stars face-to-face, ready to take on each other. With Blade being the vampire hunter he is, taking on one of the most powerful bloodsuckers is what everyone would love to see.
While this may be just a concept and not reality, fans would most definitely love to witness Starr as an antagonistic character in the MCU in the future.
What Do We Know About Blade So Far?
While the hype surrounding this reboot film may be huge, the production schedule is facing more hurdles than an Olympic athlete during their race, especially since the release date of this project has been delayed three times already.
But some major updates have come out in the last couple of months, showing some much-needed progress in production. It’s being reported that actors Delroy Lindo, Aaron Pierre, and actress Mia Goth have been cast as supporting characters alongside Ali’s titular protagonist. Other than that, it’s also being claimed that the upcoming film will be another one of the rare R-rated films for the MCU, although it hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Blade, in cinemas on November 7th, 2025.
