Fortnite players are always hunting for one thing or another. This is how Epic Games keeps challenging its fans and finding new ways to reward them with a thing or two. Sometimes players have to find a certain number of items; other times they have to just go ahead and destroy some objects to complete a challenge. But there’s always something.

No doubt, it’s a great way for them to introduce new rewards into the game. If they give fans a quest or challenge to destroy something superhero-related, they will obviously get that superhero’s skin as a reward. This is how they mix themes from different franchises into Fortnite. Keeping up with this style, they have given fans yet another quest, this time based on Avatar: The Last Airbender.

The Avatar: Elements event is now live in Fortnite, and it has introduced the game’s fans to characters and things from the popular animated series Avatar. Players are no doubt pretty enthusiastic, and they are all over this new event.

For those unaware, the elements controlled by various characters in the series are now available for players to master. They would be able to choose from waterbending, airbending, firebending, and earthbending.

Besides serving as offensive abilities, or basically alternate weaponry, these elements would also provide players with some passive effects. For one, they would be able to heal up to 100 while in water when they have waterbending in their inventory.

On the other hand, earthbending would allow players to build defensive barriers. These would provide them with cover from enemy fire. The best is airbending, which allows players to “air jump.” This would basically launch them and nearby players into the air.

These abilities can be obtained from shrines situated across the island. On those islands, players would be able to find Bending Scroll Containers. These can also be found inside chests and sometimes on the ground.

Alongside these new abilities, this new event brings players a new quest line. This quest line gives players a few new quests or challenges to complete. Destroying the cabbage carts is one of the quests. This quest is pretty straightforward; players have to destroy the cabbage carts found on Fortnite Island.

The real challenge here is to find the carts. Well, players can find those carts by using the map given below. It would show them the exact location of every cabbage cart in Fortnite.

Once they have reached a cart, all they have to do is use any weapon they have or their pickaxe on it. That would definitely get the job done. It’s as simple as that.

There are some other quests too; those would require players to use some powers or just visit some particular shrines, which should prove easy enough for them.

It appears things are settling down after the rarity storm

A still from Fortnite

A while ago, fans of this popular battle royale title were aghast to realize that the developers had decided to remove rarities from the game’s items. They were not very receptive to this sudden change at first.

But it looks like they needed some time to get used to it, and now the dust seems to have settled. One cannot deny the fact that, rarity or not, Fortnite remains the same game that it was before.
