The Marvel fandom goes crazy as Hugh Jackman finally appears in the iconic yellow Wolverine suit. The suit donned by the mutant in the comics was in demand to be shown in live-action for a long time. Ultimately Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 fulfills the dream of those countless Marvel fans who have waited for more than two decades to get a comic-accurate Wolverine.
Deadpool 3 was subjected to vast discussions for a long time. The movie is set to be a complex multiversal drama and hinted at several surprise appearances creating insane hype among the fans. Finally one of the most awaited rumors turns true after posts by both Reynolds and Jackman showed the characters in their comic outfits.
Hugh Jackman finally gets his yellow suit after two decades
Hugh Jackman gained international stardom after appearing as Logan aka Wolverine in the 20th Century Fox X-Men movies. His casting in the role of the Adamantium-clawed-mutant is considered one of the best choices ever made. Although Fox teased the iconic suit in a deleted scene from 2013’s The Wolverine, the fans were never lucky enough to get the mutant in the costume.
When it was announced that Deadpool 3 will be set in the MCU and will feature Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine once again after he said to have left the role with Logan, the fans were both excited and skeptical. While the update was worth being excited about, Marvel’s obsession with the PG ratings led the fans to be worried before the movie was officially announced to be R-rated.
In some set photos revealed earlier, the fans have noticed that there were minor changes to the suit of the merc with a mouth. Now after the suit of Hugh Jackman is revealed in the stories of both Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, some contrast with the suit from the comics can also be observed here. But the classic yellow-blue style is maintained and it has raised quite a buzz on the internet. The stories are captioned “Don’t blink” and GIF stickers of Deadpool and Wolverine can be seen.

While most of the fans are overjoyed to have their dream come true, a few of them also wanted the suit to be half sleeved so that Jackman could show his gains. The superhero fandom is not new to varying opinions on new updates and announcements. We have also seen earlier how the fans reacted to major castings and updates that didn’t please them when announced but garnered immense praise later. Besides Wolverine’s new suit, the upcoming Shawn Levy directorial is also expected to feature Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner in the roles of Daredevil and Elektra.
