Hugh Jackman would be reprising his most popular character, Wolverine, again as he is all set to star in Deadpool 3. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman would make a cast to behold, and as fans already know, it will be one ‘hell of a ride‘ to witness their journey.
However, our favorite mutant isn’t the only one who would be appearing in the movie. Shioli Kutsuna’s Yukio, Jennifer Garner‘s Elektra, and Brianna Hildebrand’s Negasonic Teenage Warhead would be some of the Marvel characters making an appearance. But since it is a Marvel movie, there are bound to be surprises in the form of surprise cameos and appearances. So, here are 7 actors who could appear alongside Ryan Reynolds and Jackman.
Patrick Stewart aka Professor X
Last appeared in the movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Deadpool 3 might have Professor X from an alternate universe. Patrick Stewart also recently hinted that he has ‘been told to standby’, which potentially means that he might return alongside Wolverine and Deadpool.
Ian McKellen aka Magneto
Ian McKellen has been eager to return as his iconic character, and since Stewart might make an appearance we can see his ‘Magneto’ as well. It has been a long time since fans last saw him as the mutant, and to have him come back would make an amazing opportunity for Marvel to rope in other characters and entertain different storylines.
Halle Berry aka Storm
Halle Berry recently posted a photo of her sporting white-grey hair, aka Storm’s usual hair color. Her post has sparked a series of rumors claiming that even Barry could make an appearance in the movie. Since Storm and Wolverine get along very well, she might join them in their quest.
James Marsden aka Cyclops
James Marsden is one of the top fan choices to return as his most iconic character. Not only have fans been eager to have him come back as Cyclops after over a decade, but Marsden has repeatedly expressed how he would love to explore the character.
Famke Janssen aka Jean Grey
While Sophie Turner played Jean Grey in the movie X-Men: The Last Stand, her portrayal wasn’t well appreciated and even fans pointed out how they missed Janssen’s version. So to fulfill fans’ desires and also give Famke Janssen the respect she deserves, Marvel might call her back once again.
Evan Peters aka Peter Maximoff
Last seen in WandaVision, Evan Peters has been hinting that he would be starring in another Marvel movie soon. While he didn’t reveal the movie, it seems obvious he could come back in Deadpool 3, given he is good friends with Wolverine and was last seen in Deadpool 2 in a small cameo.
Dafne Keen aka X-23
Even though Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have made it clear that they do not wish to interfere with the Logan storyline, Dafne Keen can come back as the young ‘Wolverine’ prodigy. Her relationship with Wolverine was left unexplored at the end of Logan, thus, her return has been long pending. While nothing has been hinted so far, fans have their fingers crossed to see her in Deadpool 3.
Deadpool 3 is expected to be released by May 3, 2024.
