On the show hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, it was a prevalent practice to have the guests partake in a game of Never Have I Ever. And almost every time the world witnessed either brutal honesty or absolute denial from the involved celebrities. The same was the case during Bullock’s appearance on the show, alongside MCU alum Anthony Mackie and Angelina Jolie’s ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton.

This time around, the game was played in an attempt to raise money for New Orleans’ Warren Easton Charter High School; the same institution that has received extensive support from the Ocean’s 8 actress. Before proceeding with the round, DeGeneres stated, “For every question you answer, I will be the judge whether I think you’re telling the truth or not.” The stakes were certainly high.

The segment began with a blast, as the first statement that the host presented before the cast was, “Never have I ever had s*x on the beach.” Only Mackie and Thornton raised the placard that spelled out, ‘I have.’ Things only got bizarre when they were asked whether or not they have ever lied to a cop. Shockingly, all three actors admitted to having done the aforementioned. This revelation sent the crowd into a fit of laughter.

The fascinating game continued, ultimately eliciting an intriguing response from Bullock. The guests were presented with another statement, “Never have I ever hooked up in the back of a limo.” This time, barring the Bird Box talent, everyone admitted to having committed the deed, including host Ellen DeGeneres. With the Oscar-winning actress being the only exception, Anthony Mackie was visibly flabbergasted.

The Black Mirror alum then questioned, “You didn’t go to prom? What did you do at prom?” To this, Sandra Bullock, with a half-joking tone, simply defended herself and stated, “I came home early ’cause we broke up two weeks before!” The seemingly tragic tidbit drew out a groan from Anthony Mackie, who seemed to be in disbelief. To humor the actress, DeGeneres exclaimed, “Now she’s going to cry!”

While the actress, when presented with the rest of the statements in the game, mainly picked the ‘I Have Never’ option, the other time she admitted to doing something was when DeGeneres questioned whether or not the star had ever lied on a talk show.

Besides such occurrences being the obvious highlights of the famed segment, there was also an instance where one of the statements made Anthony Mackie exclaim, “Damn, I’m awful. I’m an awful person.” Billy Bob Thornton, who seemed to be on the same page with having experienced most of the scenarios that were put forward during the game, agreed and said, “Me too.”

The segment ended with the show having raised $15,000 for the Warren Easton Charter High School. While the game led to the actors revealing their embarrassing secrets, it ultimately ended on a good, charitable note.
