It’s not just about the infinite delays though, it feels as if the MCU has dropped its standards after the events of Avengers: Endgame. With people getting hurt by these Marvel updates, fans are not liking the news of Mahershala Ali’s delayed film!

Marvel And Mahershala Ali’s Blade Gets Delayed… Again

Although it could be taken in a good sense that the MCU doesn’t want to release an unfinished product, the fans are also tired now. With the world having learned not to rush things for a release (*cough* Cyberpunk 2077), the MCU probably wants their films to be actually entertaining for the audience.

Even through these delays and numerous alleged updates, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has some exquisite offers on board. In more recent news, John Wick director Chad Stahelski wants to join the MCU and he wants to hop on board the Blade train!

Chad Stahelski is a renowned director known for directing the iconic John Wick franchise over the years. With action and stunt scenes, Stahelski found fame for himself. In a recent interview, the director revealed to Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused Podcast that even though he loves the Star Wars franchise, he would like to join the MCU as Blade‘s director!

“I’m a Star Wars guy, like the first Star Wars changed my life course. Maybe someday out there, Disney, if you’re listening. I’d take a swing at that. I challenge you to see if Disney could survive me.”

He further continued,

“[For Marvel], of all the things out there, I’d take a swing at Blade in a second. Like that’s one that gets under my skin, like ‘Ah! I’d take a swing at that one.’”

Well, it seems that Stahelski is indeed a great choice for a director, especially for the upcoming Blade film. With Mahershala Ali portraying the lead role of the vampire hunter, the film could be done better with some action and stunt scenes from the minds of Chad Stahelski.

Although there are numerous controversies, plans, and, delays, nothing can be confirmed or denied about the Blade film as of now. It all comes down to whether the delays were worth it when the film releases or will it just be another Eternals for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
