Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney starred in the 2023 hit rom-com Anyone But You. The film loosely based on William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing follows Beatrice and Ben as they put up a false appearance of being in love despite despising each other. The film and the sizzling chemistry between the two actors was loved by audiences. Powell specifically became an instant rom-com heartthrob, and his character contributes to some of the most hilarious scenes in the film. In one particular scene, Powell’s character goes completely n**ed as he believes that a spider has crept inside his clothes.

One would think that would be the most embarrassing scene for the actor to film. However, Powell talked about another unlikely scene in which he was made fun of by his family. At the end of the film, Powell and the cast sing Natasha Bedingfield’s hot song Unwritten as the lead characters get married and montages that follow.

Powell told Variety that it was impossible to sing the song as well as Bedingfield. His family kept sending videos of him singing it at the People’s Choice Awards, which he thought was disastrous. They keep sending him videos from that event, which still haunt him. He said,

“You know what’s so funny, I dare anybody to sing Natasha Bedingfield’s Unwritten well. It’s next to impossible. You got to see me doing it at the People’s Choice, it was a disaster. My family is still sending videos of me changing octaves, and it’s like, I  can’t relive this nightmare.”

Fans have been clamoring for Powell and Sweeney to do a sequel or do another rom-com. The two actors have been listening to the fans and have voiced their desire to work together again on the right project. It remains to be seen whether fan-favorite actors reunite again someday.
