Andrew Tate has yet again claimed the headlines of many outlets but this time with his announcement of launching his own crypto coin. Tate has a series of businesses under his belt and has been a wildly popular man in the world, primarily for his controversial remarks on several issues.
Now, as his recent post on X suggests, Tate may launch his own cryptocurrency contradicting his previous statement of not being involved in any crypto. If the influencer enters the crypto domain it might have, at least, a small spike in the huge crypto economy as Tate holds extreme popularity.
Is Andrew Tate Launching His New Cryptocurrency?
In a recent post on X, Andrew Tate revealed that he is keen on entering the crypto economy. Tate’s interest in digital currency is fascinating at best as it was the direct contradiction of his previously stated dislike as he vehemently claimed that he had no interest in it. Now, in a now-deleted X post secured by YouTuber Stephen Findeisen, popularly known as Coffeezilla shared the contradictory statement of Tate. His recent post reads:
“If I launch a coin and back it with 100m of my own money and never sell. Then I’ll let university.com members get in early at a discount and then because I’m the most famous man alive, I’ll promote it everywhere let you all make money. You have to call me ‘Top G- The G stands for crypto’ every single time you tweet at me. 50K retweets and it’s a deal.”
Perhaps Tate deleted the post for potential backlash but if he really entered the domain, the brand of the crypto could have the name, Top G. Also, it is fair to assume that Tate had given much thought to it as he was all set to invest a whopping $100 million in it.
Andrew Tate Shows Two Faces on His Crypto Ideals
Tate’s recent post on X shocked many after reaching a million fans before the post was deleted from the platform. Coffeezilla’s post on Tate’s stance on crypto further divided fans. In his previous X post, Tate wrote “I DO NOT ENDORSE SHITCOINS. I’m not a scammer like every other ‘influencer.’” The Romanian influencer added, “I don’t need to rob my fans. I DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ANY CRYPTO.” Tate also attached a video of him explaining the reason for his stance in the post on May 18, 2023. “Because I am the most influential man in the world. Every single word I say becomes a f*cking coin,” Tate said in the video.
“I released a video on Rumble about how stupid Ant-Man is, Ant man’s become a coin. Then in that Ant-Man video, I talked about how it’s all a Psyop, and Psyop is a coin. Now some f*cking nerd who has a Psyop coin is saying, I endorsed this coin… I do not endorse any crypto tape, coin, Top G coin, Psyop coin, Suck my d*ck coin, any of them. I have nothing to do with any cryptos whatsoever. And I’ll tell you why because in crypto, it is impossible for someone to win without somebody else losing. If you’re going to buy a coin for a dollar and sell it for $10, the only reason you have made money is because someone else bought it for $10, and they are going to lose.”
Tate went on to explain that he was not keen on “anybody who is associated with me in any form to lose” adding, “I don’t want any of my fans to lose. I don’t want any young children who believe in me to lose. I don’t want anybody to lose a single penny.” Tate further vowed not to invest or endorse any cryptos as he would dedicate his time to improving his fans’ lives.
