The actress talked about her prank on a talk show where she confessed to pretending to be her ex-beau, Nicholas Hoult. on a group chat with her other X-Men members.

During a 2016 appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the X-Men: First Class star recalled a hilarious incident when she pretended to be Nicholas Hoult. In an exclusive clip released by Entertainment Tonight, she admitted sending a hilarious text message to the group when she met the latter. He revealed, “The first time I ever met her, she did this.”

She continued,  

“So, I had Nick’s phone and we were in a group [text] message with [Michael] Fassbender, [James] McAvoy, and Josh Helman, another actor in the movie.” 

The Hunger Games actress explained, 

“So I wrote this really serious and emotional text and was like, ‘Guys, this is super embarrassing’ — and I knew how to kind of write like Nick. And I was like, ‘I know this sounds silly, this is really embarrassing but, have you guys ever, like — God, this is so embarrassing — lactated from your ni–les?”

While this was seriously hilarious yet bizarre at the same time, it took an interesting turn as her text message got a reply from all of the group members.

The 33-year-old actress further revealed her prank took an intriguing turn when the group members took her text message seriously. She revealed, “And all of them wrote back!”

Starting with James McAvoy, who played Charles Xavier/Professor X (24 years) in the franchise gave his earnest advice to whom he thought was Hoult. In the same interview, she continued, stating,

“James was like, ‘Dude, that sounds really serious, like honestly, you should go to a doctor. You might have a hormone problem.’”

Whereas, two-time Oscar winner, Michael Fassbender, who plays Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto followed up stating, “I don’t see what this has to do with anything.”

Jennifer Lawrence who portrayed Raven / Mystique must have had her moment enjoying the prank. Meanwhile, she shared some romantic moments with Hoult’s Hank/Beast on-screen, and the actors fell for one another in real life. While their love spark began to ignite in 2010 during the filming of X-Men: First Class, they ended up splitting briefly three years later. Not long after, they reconciled in X-Men: Days of Future Past but wrapped up their 5-year long relationship in August 2014.
