Doing your own stunts in a movie or series has always been a popular practice among the A-listers. Actors mostly do not prefer using a stunt double for their stunts unless it is something too dangerous. Millie Bobby Brown, who will be portraying the role of a princess in her upcoming movie Damsel, also recently opened up about how she did her own stunts in the movie.

Millie Bobby Brown is one of the most established and upcoming actresses in the industry at the moment and is constantly making headlines for one reason or another. The English actress first rose to fame for her portrayal of Eleven in Netflix’s sci-fi drama series, Stranger Things.
In the upcoming movie, Damsel, Millie Bobby Brown will be portraying the role of Princess Elodie who is married into a noble house. However, the noble house only intends to sacrifice the princess to repay an ancient debt, and thus Elodie tries her best to survive throughout the movie.
In the trailer of Damsel, the Enola Holmes actress was seen climbing on some crystal-like structures or rocks in order to escape from a cave. In a recent interview on TODAY, Brown shed more light on the details of the scene and said,
“I loved rock climbing as a kid so I was kind of excited and then when I got to it, I was like, ‘Oh this is a lot harder than it looks.’ And, even though I have a wire on, it’s more of a safety wire and like I have to do the rest so it was like 12 hours of full rock climbing. Well, 12 hours for many many months.
It was very physically demanding but I’ve never been challenged in the way that I was on this film. Physically every day I had different bruises and injuries. I feel like I am a warrior.”
Damsel is all set to be released later this month on 8th March 2024 on Netflix.
Millie Bobby Brown reveals her filming experience for the last season of Stranger Things
Stranger Things is one of the most popular sci-fi series at the moment. The series, which first started airing in 2016, revolves around the town of Hawkins and the supernatural activities that occur after a laboratory performs experiments on human test subjects.
The series quickly became a global sensation after the release of its first season in 2016 and currently has 4 seasons with a final season currently in the works. In the interview with TODAY, Millie Bobby Brown also talked about the filming of the final season of Stranger Things and said,
“We’re filming right now and it feels good. It’s obviously our last season so you know we’re really excited to be back together for one last hurrah but it does feel sad. Every day we go into the set, it’s like ‘It’s the last second day, it’s the last third day.’ but we’re definetely embracing it all, it’s really nice to be back with everyone. And yeah, the story is incredible.”
At the end of the 4th season of Stranger Things, we saw a major portal-like fault line opening throughout the town of Hawkins. The end of the last season has perfectly set the stage for a final showdown between our beloved heroes and the creatures from the dimension of upside down, expected toll be most the major plotline of the final season.
