The WWE is riddled with so much going on with different superstars all with their different storylines intertwining or unraveling from one moment to the next, the championship holders like Rhea Ripley have to be ready for any match that comes her way, especially for her title.
But on the bright side, along with the support of The Judgment Day by her side in the company, she also has her fiancée Buddy Matthews to push her to be the best in her personal life.
And while the WWE fandom knows about this, they still cannot help but inquire about how Matthews felt with the Ripley X Dominik storyline that did wonders for their careers. When posed this question, the Women’s World Champion revealed that she too was surprised that her fiancée wasn’t bothered by it all that much, which actually made her jealous instead.
Rhea Ripley Is Jealous That Buddy Matthews Wasn’t Bothered By Her And Dominik Mysterio’s Storyline
The thing that the WWE Universe always reminds the Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley is of the storyline with her and Dominik Mysterio being shown as a hot thing on the block not too long ago, which was something that happened while she was engaged to AEW superstar Buddy Matthews.
But instead of making him jealous, fans were surprised to know that his nonchalant and unbothered nature seemed to have made Ripley jealous instead.
In a recent episode of WWE United States Champion Logan Paul‘s podcast IMPAULSIVE, the professional wrestler posed a question by the host who asked her what her partner’s reaction to the Dominik X Ripley storyline was. The champion was quick to reveal that he was surprisingly chill about all of it.
She even stated that if the roles were reversed, then she may have gotten really jealous of it, which is a polar opposite of what Matthews was. She said:
“Not many people could be in a relationship through that. If the roles were reversed, I don’t think I could either. I get jealous real bad. He’s so chill with it. It makes my life at home and work so much eaiser.”
Thus, it seems like the fans would have to try harder if they want to make Matthews jealous, which seems like a pretty tough order considering what Ripley just revealed.
What’s Next For Rhea Ripley?
After retaining her title at the 2024 Elimination Chamber event in Perth against Nia Jax, Ripley now has her sights set on the grandest stage of them all.
Soon enough, at WrestleMania XL, Mommy would have to deal with The Man, Becky Lynch, as she comes for her Women’s World Title at one of the main events of the two-day PPV premier event.
Along with that, she would have to be extra cautious, since there’s still some time before her title defense comes up, which means she’s open for others to take advantage and put her at a disadvantage in her upcoming match.
