My entry-level lasted about 15 years… We’re talking about being able to see a doctor, getting sick, having surgery, paying my rent. I had less than $7 in my bank account and a residual from Buffy the Vampire Slayer showed up and saved the day and literally is the reason I was able to stay in [Hollywood] and not give up.”

The Mandalorian star appeared on the season 4 premiere of Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Eddie. Playing the role of a freshman at UC Sunnydale who bonds with Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Buffy after struggling to adjust to college life, Pedro Pascal developed a strong bond with the actress in real life. Although in the show their friendship was squashed when Eddie turned into a vampire, forcing Buffy to drive a stake through his heart, the duo enjoyed a great friendship, off-camera.

Despite having a brief appearance in the show, Pedro Pascal and Sarah Michelle Gellar continued their friendship in real life.
