Appearing on James Corden’s show, Jimmy Kimmel recalled the time when the British host appeared in his popular segment called Carpool Karaoke with Britney Spears. Bringing back memories from the awkward segment, Kimmel repeatedly humiliated Corden on his own show.
James Corden’s Awkward Carpool Karaoke With Britney Spears
Years back when James Corden‘s late-night talk show was running smoothly, the host welcomed several renowned stars from Tinseltown. But the one thing that was distinctive about The Late Late Show with James Corden was the popular segments that were created to entertain audiences.
The most notable examples of those segments are the Carpool Karaoke and the Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts, since several videos from these two segments have gone viral in the past. But not always was the host able to pull off those segments with ease, for once with Britney Spears, he had an awkward experience.
In Britney Spears’ episode of Carpool Karaoke, the singer was clearly having issues with the segment. But being sweet about it, Spears refrained from saying anything rude about James Corden. She simply told radio station 103.5 WKTU via Independent, the reason why she was feeling awkward throughout the Carpool Karaoke segment.

Jimmy Kimmel Recalled the Segment and Humiliated the Host
Despite Britney Spears refraining from using names, it was quite obvious to fans and audiences that the singer was talking about James Corden. As Spears told the radio station about her experience, she mentioned,
“It was fun, it was really fun. The guy was just so incredibly sweet. I had no idea he has kids, he’s a teddy bear. I was like, ‘I just want to hug you right now.’ It was a little awkward, like, driving by grocery stores. People walk by and there are like 18 cameras around us. This is just so awkward.”
Eventually, the horrifying moment came back to haunt James Corden when Jimmy Kimmel embarrassed the host on his own show by bringing back the memories. During the Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Kimmel asked the host if he was as miserable as he looked filming with Spears.
Trying to hide his embarrassment, James Corden repeatedly claimed that he liked filming with Britney Spears, but Jimmy Kimmel wasn’t willing to let go. Kimmel went on undermining Corden by noting his lies and pointing out how much the host was sweating. But that’s not all, the two rival hosts carried on the segment and Kimmel continued embarrassing the British host on his own show.
