Be under no illusions that you can transform yourself by enrolling in a 12-week program that promises such results. Also, being in excellent form is one thing, and having a superhuman figure is quite another. In order to play the title role in DC’s Wonder Woman after making her acting debut in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Gadot had to make her body slightly less slender and significantly muscular. So how did she do it?

Contrary to popular belief, Gal Gadot didn’t have to adhere to an especially strict diet in order to play Wonder Woman. She had no actual dietary limitations at all, in fact. Gadot informed Harper’s Bazaar that she eats pretty much whenever she wants. But she adopts a wise stance towards eating, highlighting the significance of restraint and common sense.

“I look at food as fuel and I want to give the best to my body, It’s all a matter of measurements and quantity of the food; just enjoy your food and don’t eat while you drive and don’t eat when you talk on the phone. Just give the food the respect and give yourself the respect to enjoy it.”

Burgers, chocolate, and ice cream are among Gadot’s favorite foods, but regularly indulging in these foods will only impede your progress and promote inflammation. She concentrated on eating a healthy, balanced diet that mostly consisted of vegetables and protein.

Trainer to the stars, Mark Twight used a full-body blitz to assist Gadot in gaining some major muscle. She began her training on the rowing machine, performing five-minute reps at a slow pace with a one to two-minute break in between, followed by 10-second sprints and 50-second calm five-minute reps, according to Muscle & Fitness. The bear crawl, more broad leap burpees, the crab walk, and more broad jump burpees followed.

Pull-ups, which are everyone’s favorite exercise, came before ring pushups, but the fun didn’t end there. After collaborating with Gadot’s trainers on a regimen that mirrored the actress’s daily activities, InStyle senior editor Christina Shanahan discovered that, after one month, she could deadlift her own weight, had shed five pounds, had a tighter core, and had better-defined arms and legs.

All that effort was not in vain, as Wonder Woman did exceptionally well at the box office, partly because of Gadot’s performance. The film surpassed Fifty Shades of Grey as the largest debut for a female director by earning $100.5 million in the U.S. during its first opening weekend.
