Not only do Tom Holland and Zendaya make an oh-so-adorable couple on screen as Peter Parker and MJ, they are also equally (if not more) adorable in real life. Ever since fans found out about the two dating in real life, their relationship has been the talk of the town as they continue to show exactly why they are a power couple!
Tom Holland and Zendaya met all the way back in 2016, during the filming of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Despite the fact that they have been in each others’ lives for seven years now, there is something about Tom Holland that Zendaya doesn’t quite understand – his British slang. While she loves her boyfriend’s accent, she just cannot get a hold of the rhyming slang!

In an interview with The Sun, Zendaya revealed that despite knowing Tom Holland for a number of years, she still has trouble understanding him when he uses British rhyming slang, even though she loves his accent. She stated,
“I love the British accent, but as much as Tom tries to explain it to me, I will never understand rhyming slang. Like I understand the concept – but what do apple and pears have to do with stairs…It’s cute when he tells me all the different phrases – but I really don’t get it!”
Well, we cannot blame her as the Cockney rhyming slang can get pretty tricky at times. We hope she gets a hold of it soon as it’d be really interesting to see her use it!
Zendaya and Tom Holland Go on a Royal Date
Holland and Zendaya have recently been globe-trotting and they recently paid a visit to Mumbai, India to attend an extravagant inauguration event, the NMACC. After their time in India, the two were spotted paying a visit to King Henry VIII’s Hampton Court Palace in London as they strolled through the various exhibits.
The photos, which have now been deleted, were shared by Historian Tracy Borman on her social media (Twitter and Facebook). The deleted post was captioned:
“I have had some special moments at the Hampton Court Palace, but this has to count as one of the best ever: exploring Hampton Court after hours with Tom Holland and Zendaya.”
In one of the pictures, Holland and Zendaya’s shadows were seen leaning toward each other, and in another picture, the couple is all smiles for the photo as they sit side by side on a table. You can check out Borman’s deleted Facebook post here as shared by a Twitter user:

The reason behind Borman deleting her social media posts is not known. However, you cannot truly delete anything from the Internet, can you?
