But what the star wants now is to be more dynamic on-screen, which is why he took on the role of the antagonist in the upcoming Mad Max prequel film titled Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

This role of the Men In Black: International star has been talked about and is such a hyped-up part that even he is excited to show what he can do as the ruthless villain on the big screen. This is why he felt the need to talk in-depth about his character in the upcoming film featuring Anya Taylor-Joy as the titular protagonist.

In the interview with Empire, Hemsworth revealed that his character sees himself as a parental figure to Taylor-Joy’s Furiosa, saying:

“He’s a pretty horrible individual. Through the whole film we kept coming back to, ‘This is evil, but what is the intention behind it?’ It’s not just sadistic insanity. There is a real purpose, the wheels are turning, he’s plotting and planning and ten steps ahead of everyone else. I think that’s how he sees himself. I think there’s a paternal quality and nature to the relationship in his eyes. [Furiosa] would, I’m sure, argue to her death the complete opposite.”

With such interesting comments, it will be amazing to witness how this translates into his performance on the big screen in the future.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga tells the tale of the titular protagonist as she’s taken away from the Green Place of Many Mothers and lands in the hands of a twisted biker fleet led by an equally twisted and maniacal warlord named Dementus.
