Bradley Cooper’s The Hangover Co-Star’s Crazy Proposal
While The Hangover has managed to garner a dedicated fanbase, the production of the film was far from easy, as the production and shooting process were hampered by several challenges for the filmmakers.
To overcome these hurdles, things took an unexpected turn when Ken Jeong came up with an insane idea for one particular scene. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, writer Todd Phillips and the rest of the cast revealed some interesting insights about the hit film.
Todd Phillips told The Hollywood Reporter:
“In the script that Jeremy (Garelick) and I had written, Mr. Chow jumps out of the trunk in his underwear. It was Ken who came to me and said, ‘I think we should do this n*ked.’ I was like, ‘You don’t have to tell me twice!’.”
Ken Jeong said that Cooper came up with an idea to have him jump on him, which led to an uncomfortable encounter between Jeong’s lower area and Cooper’s neck. Todd Phillips had to intervene, expressing concerns regarding Cooper’s comfort with the scene. Cooper didn’t fully realize the extent of the awkwardness until the director pointed it out.
