Tom Holland was Always Worried About his Short Height Getting Exposed in Avengers: Infinity War

Considering characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe belong to a fictional universe, most superheroes have an insane physique. They are often depicted as tall, handsome, and muscular characters.

In order to replicate that feeling in live-action movies, Marvel Studios has always been particular about casting actors. In Marvel Comics, Spider-Man’s height has been labeled as 5’10”, but considering Holland’s height is just 5’7″, it isn’t true to the comics.

On that note, Tom Holland revealed in an appearance on The Graham Norton Show that one of his biggest nightmares became a reality when filming Avengers: Infinity War.

These are tall blokes and I’m not that tall. I remember doing a scene on a planet and there’s all these little dips and rocks and I just said to myself in rehearsal, ‘Just find a rock.’ … I’m hanging out and I end up in a hole and I said to myself, ‘Just make sure that you’re not here when they say action!’ I literally stood in this little hole, already smaller than all these people and I’m gonna be flat, I was waist height [to Chris Pratt].

Holland found a hilarious way to narrate the story, and it made it even more funny to think about. After all, while most actors were focused on their scenes or remembering their lines, there was Tom Holland trying to find a rock to stand on.

Holland was most likely talking about the scene where the likes of Iron Man, Star Lord, Doctor Strange, and, of course, Spider-Man are locked into an intense battle with Thanos on Saturn’s moon, Titan.
