She-Hulk star Tatiana Maslany has joined the writers, who have been on strike for months demanding for fair pay. She got brutally honest while speaking up for writers, saying that she also has a friend who has been doing the job for years and has also suffered the consequences of the low wages.

Wages have gone down, people’s quotes no longer stand for anything. It’s just like we’ve been completely cast aside,” she said. The 37-year-old actress also shared that she supports writers who have spoken out about it, along with the “visual effects workers, who are trying to unionize.”

Reacting to Bob Iger’s statements about the strike, Maslany accused the CEO of being out of touch with the people who make the shows happen and bring in the audience and money for the studio. “He’s completely out of touch with the workers who make his shows happen,” she said.

The Orphan Black star also shared that she is aware of these things because she has starred in a Disney show. She said that it is “outrageous” to see the amount of money these shows make, and the people working hardest on these shows, that is “crew, cast, writers,” get the lowest share.
