Florence Pugh On Thunderbolts

Thunderbolts is the upcoming MCU film following the storyline of a group of anti-heroes. The Midsommar actress will be seen reprising her MCU character. Pugh revealed in an interview her thoughts on being a part of the MCU. The Little Women star didn’t share much about her upcoming MCU project but emphasized that she is grateful for being able to reprise her MCU character. Pugh added that she is excited and will try her best to outdo the best in the movie.

“I don’t know how much I’m supposed to say actually! But I just want to say on this topic: I’m incredibly grateful to be moving forward with the MCU. I’m incredibly grateful to have had the original experience and to be able to step back into that world again in my old character. I don’t know much about what we’re shooting or what the storyline is, but I am very lucky to be in this position. That family is a very supportive one. Whatever they give me, I’ll act the hell out of it.”

David Harbour On Florence Pugh’s Part In Thunderbolts

David Harbour, who has worked with Pugh in past in the Black Widow, will also star in the upcoming Thunderbolts. Harbour plays the role of Red Guardian in the MCU. He is a super soldier and father-like figure to Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova. The Stranger Things actor revealed that Pugh’s role in the Thunderbolts will be really interesting. He added that the upcoming MCU projects will be filled with action and comedy.

“What [director Jake Schreier] wants to do with Florence’s character is very interesting and how I factor into how we develop our relationship is very interesting. And then when you see what Jake and Eric Pearson is trying to fashion, it’s really clever…So you have this movie that’s, you know, kind of ragtag. It’ll be funny. it’ll be weird, it’ll be action. And then we’re also going to drop a bomb, which is cool.”
