Who Else Can Be Expected In Ms. Marvel’s Young Avengers Team?

With Ms. Marvel being the founding member of the Young Avengers, and Kate Bishop being the first recruit of the team, it is only fitting to think that Cassie Lang would be the next recruit to the team. While Kathyrn Newton’s character did not appear in the film, Kamala Khan mentioned that she will be heading to San Francisco to recruit Stature, another member of the original comics team.

But the question remains, who else can we expect in the team, as Marvel Studios has decided to make a few tweaks and deviate from the comics. Though not confirmed, it can be expected that the following four characters can be a part of the new team.

1) America Chavez

Played by Xochitl Gomez alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, her portrayal was loved by the fans. The character made the film intriguing, as her powers include multiverse portals which would be extremely important in the multiverse saga, Moreover, she was one of the original members to join the Young Avengers in Marvel Comics, eventually becoming one of the strongest characters to ever featured in Marvel.

2) Speed

Tommy Maximoff aka Speed is portrayed by the young Jett Klyne, who made his debut in the MCU when he played the role of the fabricated children of Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch and Vision in WandaVision. Speed is like a speedster like his uncle, Quicksilver, but the problem here lies that in the comics he is the reincarnated self. However, in the MCU, he doesn’t exist as Scarlett Witch ended her spell over Westview, but in Doctor Strange 2, it was confirmed that he exists in a different timeline so it might be possible for him to be a part of the new team.

3) Wiccan

Another child of Wanda Maximoff, Billy Maximoff/ Wiccan can use powers like his mother but he is not considered to be a threat like her. Similar to his brother Tommy Maximoff, he does not exist in the original timeline. While he has not showcased his powers in full force his powers are similar to his mother’s which makes him a great candidate to be in Ms. Marvel’s team.

4) Kid Loki

Last but not least, Kid Loki happens to be the fan-favorite Loki variant that would be a part of the Young Avengers. In the comics, Loki cheats death by resurrecting himself as a young boy and joins the team, hoping to start afresh. However, in the MCU, the story deviates a little from the original storyline, as in the first season of Loki, fans saw how the characters decided to stay in the void. While much isn’t known about Kid Loki, other than the fact of his glorious purpose, that is, how he killed his brother, Thor. It would be quite interesting to see his path to joining Young Avengers working alongside Ms. Marvel and other new names.
