One such cosplayer has portrayed a work-in-progress Ranni cosplay, with impressive details that’s going to leave you stunned. The hype is clear as day, and it seems that the cosplayer has paid a lot of attention to Ranni’s character details.

Ranni’s arms are difficult to cosplay, but this Elden Ring fan isn’t afraid to show off

Even though the cosplay isn’t complete, the details are magnificent.

A short clip on Reddit has been going viral, with almost 30k upvotes and close to 500 comments. This clip belongs to user Ok_Bread_5117; showing off Ranni’s cosplay at work. Even though the cosplay isn’t complete yet, the arm movements look smooth and accurate according to the game’s depiction of the same. By herself, Ranni is an important character in the game, and not every cosplayer gets the portrayal right.

Furthermore, the cosplayer (Irini Tsanaka) writes about her goals with the project:

This whole cosplay is still a big work in progress, but I wanted to share how far I’ve gotten with the arm movement. Hoping to finish Ranni in a few days for MAGFest.

You can find more of her cosplays on her Instagram page as well. Seems like Irini has been professionally cosplaying for a while now, and her expertise is brilliantly visible even though the Ranni cosplay is a work in progress. Responses to the same have been nothing short of supportive and wholesome, with users like Lpnlizard27 eagerly waiting for the entire cosplay:

Amazing!

Please post again when the whole costume is finished, can’t wait to see it.

Other comments are bewildered over the fact that something like this is actually possible. After all, you can see Ranni’s extra arm moving around like a puppet. Such kind of craftsmanship is, in its own way, magical.

Ranni is a multi-layered character that breathes life into Elden Ring

Elden Ring characters
Ranni the Witch is a mysterious NPC in the game.

Note: Minor spoilers for Elden Ring.

Elden Ring’s success comes from its many aspects; gameplay and characters taking the threshold. One of these characters is Ranni the Witch, an enigmatic NPC who initially introduces herself as Renna to players. Her quest line eventually becomes an important one, and it’s up to you how you explore her story.

Ranni’s origins go back to Radagon and Rennala; two powerful figures in Elden Ring. She is their daughter, with other siblings who were together raised to become demigods. A bittersweet tale lies in Ranni losing her original body, and later traversing the Lands Between in the spirit form.

As you can see from the cosplay, her doll-like features are evident because she takes on the body of a doll, wanting to restore her status with the help of Iji, who is another fascinating character in the game. Without spoiling much, we’d recommend you to look into Ranni’s questline and discover all the smaller stories and rewards you can gain.

Perhaps, by the time you’re done, Irini Tsanaka’s cosplay will be completed and you’ll find yourself awestruck yet again. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on the cosplay? Let us know in the comments below.
