Ever since the release of The Boys Presents: Diabolical in 2022, fans have raised the question of whether there could be a crossover between that world and the world of Invincible. The makers of both shows while aware of the rumors, have not yet confirmed a possible crossover between the two IPs.

But now with the animated show of The Boys, the possibility of it happening has increased. Seth Rogen (who is also an executive producer on Invincible) talked about the potential of season 2 and revealed that the scripts for season 2 have started coming and more pre-production work has started. He told Collider,

“Actually, they bought some scripts for the next season, so we’ve been writing … if everything goes as planned, they will produce the scripts that we are writing right now… I’ve been working on the next few seasons (of Invincible). They’ve been very supportive of letting us do these crazy stuff”

The anthological nature of The Boys animated show also creates possibilities for the two universes to come together. The desire from fans to see this crossover happen plus makers of both IPs at least curious about this possibility makes this an inevitable event that will happen sometime in the future.

The Boys is known for pushing the limits of what can be told in superhero narrative and relishing gory and violent action and events. The series has also showcased some of the most bizarre and shocking scenarios over its 3 seasons, and it seems Season 4 will push it even more.

Seth Rogen who is an executive producer of the show revealed that season 4 still managed to shock him when he thought the show had already pulled off every possible crazy and wild action. He told Collider,

The teaser for the fourth season of the series promised another entertaining and wild adventure with all the characters we have come to love (and hate). The new season will start streaming on Amazon Prime sometime next year.
