Jonathan Majors was the next big thing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as his portrayal of He Who Remains in Loki was immensely loved by the Marvel fans. He was planned to play the role of Kang the Conqueror and was set to be the main villain of not only Phase 6 but also Phase 7. While Marvel decided to part ways with Jonathan Majors, they have continued to stay united with Tenoch Huerta, who had made quite the stir, as he was allegedly accused of sexual assault. The actor shocked the internet as he arrived at the premiere of Marvel’s Echo, fans couldn’t believe their eyes, as the actor made his public appearance.

Tenoch Huerta Shows Up At Echo’s Premiere

Just like Jonathan Majors, Tenoch Huerta gained immense fame and recognition for this portrayal of Namor in the 2022 sequel, and fans wanted to see more of the actor, but his fame came to an end when he was accused of s*xual assault. As per Deadline, the actor was accused by Elena Rios of sexual assault allegations in June 2023, and was called as a “sexual predator.”

Though Huerta firmly denied those allegations, stated that he would not let such allegations go unchallenged in the court, through his Instagram stories.

“A false and completely unsubstantiated accusation about me has spread like wildfire—and I cannot let it go unchallenged any longer.” 

Marvel’s Echo featuring Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez/ Echo had a premiere event in LA on 8th January 2024, where a number of actors showed up, but none of them made headlines like the Days of Grace actor. In a post shared by Mutant Updates (@MutantsUpdate) on X, featuring, Tenoch Huerta appeared at the premiere of the show.

Fans could not believe their eyes, as it invited negative opinions from people, given that the case is ongoing.

While fans are furious at the actor for the heinous allegations raised at him by Elena Rios, fans should stay neutral until the final verdict, and then make a decision like Marvel did with Majors.

Jonathan Majors Was Shellshocked by The Final Verdict

Jonathan Majors, who had been waiting for the jury’s final verdict for the allegations of physical assault and harassment on Grace Jabbari, his ex-girlfriend, was found guilty, followed by Marvel firing him from the franchise. In a recent interview with ABC News, the actor stated that he was “shocked and afraid” upon hearing the verdict. Before adding that he shared his inner thoughts, on how it was impossible based on the evidence provided to the court.

“I’m standing there and the verdict comes down. I say, ‘How is that possible based off the evidence, based off the prosecution’s evidence, let alone our evidence? How is that possible?”

Majors finally decided to share his side of the story as he felt, this was the right time and wanted it to be a “part of healing.” Nevertheless, he feels blessed for the people who stood beside him and how difficult the case was on him and his family.

“I’m really blessed. I’m surrounded by people who love me, who care about me. But this has been very, very, very hard, and very difficult, and confusing in many ways. But I’m standing. Everything has kinda gone away. And it’s just me now, you know, and my lovely, you know, partner, [actress] Meagan [Good], and my dogs.”

The trial put a massive toll on his personal life and is even a major setback to his acting career, where studios would like to stay away from him. Nevertheless, he feels optimistic and will find his way back up.
