However, when it seemed like all hope was lost, the creator of the series, Warrior Nun, Simon Barry finally announced that the series has been saved and more details about the next season would be revealed soon.

Fans were absolutely shocked when Netflix canceled Warrior Nun

Netflix has canceled a lot of famous series and shows in the past and Warrior Nun also shared a similar fate last year after the popular series was canceled just after 2 seasons. The fans of the series were left absolutely shocked as season 2 of the series had recorded a total of 26.2 million streaming hours in its first week alone and the show was still canceled.

Some loyal fans of the series tried everything in their power to save the series and some of the fans even chipped in to even rent out a Billboard on the corner of Sunset Boulevard and North Van Ness Avenue in Los Angeles which is right in front of Netflix’s headquarters so that the executives of the streaming giant could get the message.

Warrior Nun has been saved!

After over almost half a year of confusion and dismay, an official update about the future of Warrior Nun was given by the creator of the series, Simon Barry. He took to Twitter a few hours ago and wrote,

WarriorNun will return and is going to be more EPIC than you could imagine. More details to come! SOON! Thank-you!!

The endless support from the fans finally resulted in something and now more details about season 3 of Warrior Nun will be revealed soon.
