I tried to get back into his skin. He’s a little different in this film. He’s a little more … I don’t know how to put it. You don’t spend as much time with him, so you don’t really get to know as much about what he’s thinking”.

The 8-mile star also revealed that his role in the film would definitely be different from what he played in the Man of Steel. But in what way? There is no doubt that General Zod has been one of the most difficult antagonists that Superman has had to combat. In The Flash, it is clear that Barry Allan has stumbled into an alternate universe where General Zod leads his invasion. But this time, there is no Superman to defend it. So fans may get to see the villain in an even more unrestrained and menacing avatar than before.
