Dakota Johnson’s Madame Web Reused A Scene From Spider-Man 2!

With hopes of paying tribute to Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire or in hopes of getting some of the audience seats filled, Madame Web decided to reuse a scene from the 2004 film Spider-Man 2. And the results were quite the opposite.

Having poor ratings, the film decided to reuse/recreate several scenes from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2. Well, fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the elephant in the room and in the process, trolled the movie so hard that even Morbius was praised in front of this film!

And here’s when the trolling started.

And what seems to hurt is that Madame Web star Dakota Johnson hasn’t seen her own film. In an interview, the actress revealed that she doesn’t know when she is going to see it!

On one hand, people are already trolling the 2024 film for being one of the finest failures of this year, and on the other hand, Dakota Johnson’s words might just backfire on her. In an interview with BuzzFeed UK, Johnson shared that she hasn’t seen her own movie yet!

“Is there a theme song? Did you see the movie? I haven’t seen it. You know more about it than me. We’ll see.”

In a separate interview with ExtraTV, Johnson remarked how she was reluctant to take on the role of a superhero.

“It’s so exciting and funAnd I feel so proud to be a part of this film and part of a new kind of a superhero film it’s really fun. “I never really saw myself in a superhero film. And I, um, I don’t know, I spoke with SJ, the director, a lot about how I could pull it off. And I really wanted to make sure that my character was really grounded and complex and had a real personality.”

Although no one has criticized Johnson for her acting skills, Madame Web, on the other hand, received an intense negative reception. With a rating of 3.8/10 on IMDB and a record low of 13% on Rotten Tomatoes, the film is currently screening in theaters across the world.
