Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is back and is offically MCU canon. The character being officially part of the Marvel timeline already has raised several questions, but Echo season 1 has already confirmed/ resolved some of the most posing questions regarding his character.
As the newly released Disney+ series confirmed that Daredevil was up and about during the blip aka safe from the Thanos’ snap, fans have been envisioning the perfect, almost-horror episode for Daredevil: Born Again, whihc unfortunately many also reckon Marvel will not be able to get it right.
Charlie Cox’s Daredevil: Born Again Can Have This Perfect Horror Episode
As Marvel has confirmed that the Netflix’s Defenders saga is part of the official Marvel Canon, Echo too takes pace within the present day MCU. However, as per the numerous flashbacks featured in the show, which also shows her run-ins with Daredevil, Marvel has unofficially confirmed that Matt Murdock was not erased by Thanos’ snap but being a crime-fighting vigilante in those moments of chaos.
After this confirmation, as is the norm, fans were quick to forge numerous theories regarding Charlie Cox‘s Daredevil and his upcoming show (via X), Daredevil: Born Again. One major theory makes up for the perfect horror episode premise which can be adapted for atleast one episode.
The upcoming Disney+ show can either have a flashback or either start from Thanos’ snap for it will be absolutely terrifying for Murdock, who is blind but has super listening abilities, to listen to people’s scream and disappearing heartbeats.
As chaos spreads around him, Murdock too will be captivated by it, trying to understand and navigate the chaos that he has no idea about. The event can be further darkened and made perlious if Murdock’s best pals aka Foggy Nelson and Karen disappear during the blip.
Daredevil: Born Again thus has the opportunity to create the perfect horror episode, showing the cruel and chaotic reality with authenticity that other Marvel projects failed to do due to the absence of R-rating. However, even though this is just a theory, fans are adamant the show adapt this storyline. But even among such calls for its adaptation, countless fans believe Marvel will do everything but to get it right.

As fans call for the adaptation of the prevously mentioned theory, there are an equal if not more fans who feel MCU can also royalls mess up this opportunity. Here is how many of them reacted on X after this theroy went viral.
If they don’t do this, it’ll be the biggest missed opportunity.

I hope that's the opening of born again when he finds out Foggy and Karen got blipped in the Snap

Yes pls!!! Ever since Daredevil came back into the MCU, I have been hoping he survived the snap so we can see his experience of surviving the whole thing and witnessing the aftermath. The way he only sees the world on fire, but in an instant, it's snuffed out. The heartbeat gone.

Yup you got me I need this in the show and see kingpins rise back to power

If they don't make it that Karen & Foggy got blipped, imma be annoyed, lol

That probably would explain how Kingpin got out of prison if you think about it. Cause the world would be vulnerable

As fans wait for the release of Daredevil: Born Again, this one fan theory is too good to not be true, but since Marvel always has the last say, it will be worth watching if the studio ever adapts this toryline in whatever capacity or thoroughly ignores the said event.
Meanwhile: Charlie Cox’s MCU Dinsey+ series might release in the late 2024 or early 2025.
